Carolina Pinzón Gómez is an activist for the rights of people who use drugs and founder of #deliberar. Psychologist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, Master in prevention and treatment of addictive behaviors from the University of Valencia and doctoral student in psychology at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.

With experience in scientific research on the factors that favor behavioral change in cocaine users, the use of digital tools in the intervention of consumption and the effects of the war on drugs in users of psychoactive substances, with a special emphasis on the women, mothers and persons deprived of liberty. He is currently leading a research on the prevalence and effects of drug use in people deprived of liberty and is developing his doctoral thesis on risk reduction and harm in users of psychoactive substances. Thanks to her work in #deliberar, she was the winner of the National Prize for Digital Journalism in 2019 and a fellow of the Diploma in Drug Policy, Human Rights and Health 2020 by the Drug Policy Program of the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE) of Mexico .
